The Trent Severn Waterway
Trent-Severn Waterway Kennisis is one of the feeder lakes to the Trent Cannel. Policies related to the management of the cannel are largely responsible for the 6 foot drop in our lake levels each year. The federal minister of the Environment has appointed a six-member panel to consult on the future mandate and expectations for management of the waterway. That report is now available:
